AIM
The main aim is to find out the emerging trend at NIFT Gandhinagar by focusing mainly on the patterns of women wear.

INTRODUCTION TO PATTERN
Consistent and recuring characteristic or trait that helps in the identification of a phenomenon r problem , and serves as an indicator or model for predicting it's future behaviour.

TYPES OF PATTERN
Nature provides example of many kind of pattern, including symmetries , trees and other
structureswith a fractal dimension spirals , meanders , waves , foams , tilling and cracks etc.

SYMMETRY
Symmetry is widespread in living things. animals that move usually have bilateral symmetry. among non-living things, snowflakes have striking sixfold symmetry.

SPIRALS
Spiral pattern are fund in the body plans of animals including molluscs. and in the multiple spirals found in flwerheads such as the sunflower and fruit like pineapple.

MEANDERS
Patterns in nature never exactly repeat because extreamly small differences in starting conditions can lead to widely differing in outcome.

WAVES
Waves are disturbance that they carry energy as they move. as they pass over sand, such waves creat patterns of ripples .

BUBBLES
Foam and bubble pattern occur widely in nature for example in radiolarians , spong spicules and see urchins.

CRACKS
